Why we love it
We worked on the Touzy after having our own baby. All of our 'ideal' situations of baby changing went out the window from night one. We found ourselves changing baby anywhere and everywhere.

- Designed to last - as much as we didn’t want to be, we were changing nappies for a long time
- High sides
- Non-slip base
- Handles
- Soft to touch, a material which doesn’t get to hot or cold
We were changing our baby everywhere, we very quickly realised we would move the change mat to where we were in the house rather than our baby to the changing station each time. We struggled carrying the change mat in one hand and baby in the other, meaning multiple trips. Handles resolved this problem. We intentionally designed the handles to avoid risks for curious little fingers.
No shortcuts on quality
We tried products without a rigid base which tended to be thinner and lighter (also cheaper). The problem with these were they were flimsy and on certain surfaces they didn’t feel secure. The rigid base means the change mat can be used anywhere. The thicker change mat padding, creates a more durable and comfortable surface. You can notice this in the high sides which won’t just fall over with a bit of pressure. The extra features and quality were worth the price jump.
Curious little ones
The high sides go all away around the Touzy and drop down at the legs. Our little one loved grabbing and holding onto something. The high sides gave him something to hold onto and fiddle with. He also loved to wiggle his body up. We made sure we had a high head rest so our baby wouldn’t be able to wiggle his way up and away from us.
A lot of changes
Unfortunately you’re going to be changing nappies for a while, the Touzy is designed to go on this journey with you. Testing multiple lengths of the Touzy and ended up on a design which was slightly longer than most and had high sides which taper off at the bottom to allow for wiggly legs.
Cost per use
Our most used product in our house. You’re doing approximately 2000 changes in the first year of babies life, we wanted to design a product which made this part of parenting slightly easier. It was a collaboration from the whole team, getting help from our sourcing agent to help us 3D render the product (a new skill for him) and an artist we met in Spain to design the box.
