Why we love it

This is the set we (Carla and John) used for our baby, so perhaps we are slightly biased.

The design of the products don’t scream out ‘baby’, they created a space we loved being in.
We didn’t have to think. We went with this set and they were the hero items of the nursery. We styled around these beautiful items which made it easy.
The curvature used throughout the collection helps soften your nursery.
The design lends itself to most styling choices, an easy set to drop into any space.
Buying the package means you’re getting a great base for your nursery, including our top of the range mattress, the DuoDreamer and a manchester set.

Materials and care

Materials

Majority of the products are made from sustainably sourced radiata pine timber.
The cot base is a slatted LVL timber base, to allow for increased airflow.
The chest drawer bottoms and back panels are MDF sheets for strength and to avoid warping.

Care

Pine timber is softer by nature, meaning there is less chance of splintering. Some babies will teeth on furniture, pine timber is more gentle on their mouth timber.
The timber is coated in a light lacquer (tested to Australian safety standards) which helps keep a consistent colour in the timber and avoids the timber yellowing
Regularly wipe dust away using a soft cloth.
For deeper cleans use water or a very mild cleaning agent which is suitable for painted surfaces.

WARNING: Product use

Cot and mattress

infant should be placed to sleep on a firm, flat surface;
place infant on their back when using this product;
do not put objects or accessories in an infant’s sleep environment;
do not place this product near a blind, cord, strap or similar item that could become wrapped around an infant’s neck.
It is important that the gaps between the mattress and the sides and ends of the cot will not exceed 40 mm when the mattress is pushed to one side or end, and 20 mm when the mattress is centred in the cot.

Chest of drawers

ALWAYS secure it with an anchor device.
NEVER allow children to stand, climb or hang on drawers, doors, or shelves.
NEVER open more than one drawer at a time.
Place heavy items down low.
NEVER put a TV on this furniture

Everything you need

Even being in the industry we found ourselves overwhelmed with choices, where you feel like you need everything. The intention behind this package was to create a base for your nursery. You’re getting a matching nursery set, our DuoDreamer mattress, and a set of manchester. Buying everything together makes the most of our package pricing.

Considered design

The Willow collections iconic curves are hand finished to create a feeling of softness. Every touchpoint of the furniture was thought out in the design process with the goal of making it inviting for both parent and child.

A wonderful collaboration

Designed in collaboration with Skeehan Studio. When we had our idea for designing a cot we wanted to get external design guidance, so we reached out to the team at Skeehan. Based in Canberra, we worked closely with the team (also parents) to create the Willow collection. It was a project of many iterations, factory visits and samples, until we landed on our final product.

Quality over quantity

The Willow collection is our best seller. We are limited in production due to the time required to create each cot, each cot is hand finished. It is a special project for our team, working directly with Skeehan studio to create this collection.
