Is your baby having some challenges getting started with bottle feeds?

We understand that babies born with a Cleft Lip or Cleft Palate have unique feeding needs so we developed the Sepal Specialty Feeding System. This bottle set includes our Specialty Feeding Valve which allows babies, who are unable to feed using suction, to use the Sepal range of bottles and teats by feeding with a 'chomping' or mechanical compression of the teat. The bottle set also includes a 250ml squeezy bottle to allow your baby to be assisted with feeding whilst they are learning how to manage independently.

To complete the Specialty Feeding System you will need to select an appropriate Sepal teat*.

This set includes Home Care & Use Instructions, 250ml bottle (squeezy), Specialty Feeding Valve, teat cover and bottle cap. The valve is universal in size meaning that it can be used with all Sepal teats and bottles.

Bottle & Cover - Polypropylene (clear)

The 250ml Squeezy bottle is manufactured with a malleable material which has a lower softening temperature. The functional benefits of this softer material result in a flexible bottle which can be squeezed to assist feeding. However, users are encouraged to take precautions when using this bottle as it behaves differently at high temperatures (compared to Sepal rigid bottles). In particular, we advise caution if boiling the bottle. Alternate sterilisation methods are recommended as a better choice (i.e. cold water or UV sterilisation).
